Mission Statement

A Christian communications firm providing valuable media products and services to both non-profit ministries and Bible teaching, evangelical Christian churches throughout North America.

How?

Creative Teleproductions, Inc. is helping ministries succeed by cost effectively and dramatically increasing their visibility to a targeted audience via the art form of our generation, television.  Our use of the media is customized to meet the specialized needs of your ministry/community, and designed to assist you in accomplishing the goals of your ministry.

Why Television and Video?

Both churches and non-profit ministries are in competition with the world and today’s mass media when it comes to getting their message out. Billy Graham once said, “Isn’t it sad that the local church is still celebrating the invention of the printing press!”

Of course, this same challenge applies equally well to non-profit ministries. Today, video, television, and the internet are the “new communication tools” of our modern world. They can all be used professionally and cost effectively for the benefit of the Kingdom!  These “new communication tools” can be used effectively in presenting Biblical truth to people in your marketplace while in the comfort of their home.  Our 30-second customized messages of hope address current issues in a fresh Bible based and relevant format that is appealing to today’s culture.

Why not more print media?

In the past, print media has prevailed, and this has proven to be an effective way of informing your intended audience.  The major missing ingredient in print media is that it’s extremely difficult, if not impossible to motivate people, and direct them towards a call to action.  We’re all familiar with old saying . . . a picture is worth a 1000 words, and it’s a fact that the effective use of video not only helps the viewer to remember the message, but also to take action!  You can create an emotional response through television and video, and at the same time highly motivate people to want to become involved.  We are not only informing our audience via the new media forms of our generation, but also encouraging, inspiring and motivating people to become involved!

Important questions to ask . . .

·        Is media right for our ministry and what about our media strategy? . .  .

·        Are we being, a good steward of our media dollars, and as important, are we spending dollars in such a way that there’s a realistic potential for success?

·        Is our present use of the media providing our people with a better opportunity for ministry within our community?

·        How is our ministry perceived by the un-churched in our community?

·        Have you recently asked yourself . . . what would motivate an un-churched person and/or family to visit our church next Sunday morning?

·        Does our community even know our church exists?

·        Could positive, highly visible media exposure in our local community improve its perception of our church, our programs, our people, our goals, and our message of hope and peace in Christ?

A recent and major survey revealed . . .

73% of the un-churched in America today believe the church is not in any way relevant to their needs.  This startling statistic is worthy of causing us to stop . . . look . . . and listen!  How effectively are we building a bridge between the local church and the un-churched world around us?  Every ministry is ultimately in the communications business, and we just happen to have the most important, life-changing message in the entire universe.  We are committed to helping ministries reach the unsaved in their community with timely messages of hope, love, and understanding and by identifying and meeting the needs of people.

Since 1987 this concept has established a proven track record.  These customized cable TV spots have worked successfully for nearly 500 churches, ranging in size from less than 100 to 10,000 or more in attendance on Sunday morning, throughout 47 States and Canada.  Also, many non-profit ministries have greatly benefited by our years of experience, and our ability to secure “rock bottom” prices for airtime through the partnership with our media buyer.

Creative Teleproductions, Inc. has worked with literally hundreds of ministries over the years. We’ll always present the facts based upon many lessons learned through our 30+ years of experience. Our ultimate concern is what’s in the best interest of your project and assisting you in the fulfillment of your mission . . . and yet, it’s truly a team effort!

Endorsements from pastors using customized spots

·        We have used customized TV spots for the past five years.  They are a cost effective means for the average church to have a media ministry and an impact on its community.  These first class spots have made our people proud of their church and have opened up conversations about the church for witnessing opportunities.
Our primary reason for instituting the spots was to give a positive image of the church to the community and open up opportunities for our people to talk to their friends and neighbors.  In addition, we have seen about 10 % of our visitors come as a direct result of viewing the sports.  We believe these spots are a far more effective ministry tool than televising our church services.

Bruce Braun has impeccable credentials.  He has a passion to help churches influence their communities through media and ultimately bring people to Christ.  I highly recommend Bruce Braun and the customized TV spots for any church with a passion to reach its community.

Jerry Kroll is Pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia

·        The TV spots have played a significant role in the tremendous growth of our church.
Dr. Bob Moorehead of Overlake Christian Church in the suburbs of Seattle, WA, one of the leading ministries in all the Pacific Northwest.

·        The TV messages provide our congregation with unlimited opportunities for personal evangelism.
Wally Rendel, senior minister of Southern Acres Christian Church in the suburbs of Lexington, KY and the past President of the North American Christian Convention.

·        I wanted to tell you how excited I am with the TV messages that we have produced with you.  I believe it is the single most productive tool I have found to reach our community for Christ.
Randal Ross, past senior minister of Trinity Church in the suburbs of Lubbock, TX.

·        I believe this presentation has given us credibility in the community and a positive image of a caring church who want new people to be a part of our family.  We praise the Lord for this creative outreach into our community.
William Bernhard, senior minister of Garfield Baptist Church in the western suburbs of Milwaukee, WI.

·        It is with great joy that I commend to you the services of Bruce Braun.  We have worked with Bruce since 1997. He has always delivered his product on time, if not, early.  He maintains high expectations for the quality of his services which is evident by the positive responses we receive regularly  from the community and those who know the business of video production. We are more than satisfied with his workmanship and Bruce is the first one we contact when a video production need arises.

      Peter Faulkner...Pastor, Peoples Bible Church

·        We have been very pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the TV Life Messages (customized 30 second spots) that are being broadcast through our local cable TV outlets.  We did not expect the volume of responses that we have received nor the interest people showed to us in response by visiting our church since we started airing the spots in 1997.  Even more, some have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and have identified with the church, serving faithfully each week in the work of the church. It is also gratifying to us to know that we are depositing these messages to thousands of homes every day and knowing that the messages are being heard.  The professional and technical abilities of Bruce Braun have made a significant impact on the quality and level of success of these messages - a well-produced spot speaks to the integrity of the message we are attempting to communicate.

I highly recommend the services of Bruce Braun knowing his work will glorify our Lord in a culture a spiritual apathy.

Shawn Thornton...Senior Pastor, Bible Center Church, Charleston, WV

·        The power of television cannot be underestimated.  It’s made a tremendous impact for the kingdom in our community!
Ralph Sproles, senior minister of Poplar Springs Church of Christ in the northern suburbs of Winston-Salem, NC.

·        Please know I will count it as a privilege to recommend these customized spots to other Pastors in the country and I pray that God will expand this ministry far beyond the West Coast and the United States.
G.L. Johnson, senior pastor of Peoples Church in the suburbs of Fresno, CA.

·        By the end of the year, the average weekly attendance of our church had grown 35%, . . .
we saw a continued vibrancy in our church as well as pride and enthusiasm, it has been well worth the investment and ongoing commitment to producing and keeping these spots on television.
Pastor Mark Stewart of Spring Valley Bible Church in Boise, ID.

·        This vital method of outreach is enabling us to reach our community for Christ in a relevant and effective manner.
We look forward to a fruitful and ongoing relationship with your ministry.
Pastor Mike Frazier of Canton Baptist Temple in Canton, OH.

Here’s the Challenge!

If the local church is going to make a greater impact in their marketplace, they have to be certain they’re reaching their intended audience.  Literally hundreds of churches nationwide go to great expense to air their Sunday morning worship service on local television.  They must realize they are simply preaching to the choir . . . while reaching hopefully 3% to 5% of their market.  Here’s an irrefutable fact… The un-churched are not watching Sunday morning church services.
. . . the remote control seems to rule.

Customized cable TV spots provide the local church with a viable alternative.  This is done by airing broadcast quality, 30- second customized television spots on regular secular programming throughout the week and reaching 50% to 75% or more of the local market and with greater frequency than just once a week.  For example, our 30 second life messages air on Good Morning America, your local evening news, on prime PAX-TV such as Touched by an Angel and Diagnosis Murder, on some popular cable television programming such as Larry King Live on CNN, a popular prime time movie on Lifetime, or one of your favorite programs on the Discovery channel. If one of your TV spots is designed to reach teenagers, then we are on MTV and VH-1, and much more.

We are asked all the time . . . what are the tangible benefits to the local church?  A typical church board seems to have lay leaders that evaluate success from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective.

Some of the measurable benefits are as follows:

·        This program consistently generates an excitement and healthy sense of pride within the church fellowship, and we have experienced a unified and positive response not only within the church itself, but the community at large.

·        The TV spots have helped the local church play a greater leadership role in their community.

·        The 30 second life messages have provided a heightened awareness of our church in the community.

·        Overall, churches have experienced an accelerated increase in first time visitors, a noteworthy increase in overall church growth, and an increase in personal commitments to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

·        Most importantly, the life messages provide a platform for your people to talk about their great church and Jesus Christ to their friends, family, neighbors schoolmates, and others they know in the community.  These discussions often lead to a personal invitation for them to visit your church.  Bottom line . . . the participation of your congregation is instrumental to the success of this program of outreach and evangelism.

We welcome any and all questions about our unique and very specialized ministry.  I’d like to leave you with this thought . . . when we think of world missions, a place like the Philippines immediately comes to mind.  But the mission field begins first and foremost in the neighborhoods surrounding our church, and many of our churches refer to our program of outreach as home missions.
We look forward to serving your ministry, and making your efforts of getting your message out to your desired audience both more affordable and effective.

Working together to build His Kingdom!
